IND vs AUS Day Night Test: सिर्फ भारतीय टीम देती है पिंक बॉल टेस्ट में ऑस्ट्रेलिया को टक्कर, जानें पाकिस्तान-इंग्लैंड का हाल

IND vs AUS Day-Night Test:

The second match of the 5-match Test series between the Indian team and Australia will be a day-night Test, played with a pink ball in Adelaide from December 6. So far, 22 day-night Test matches have been played between 10 teams in history. Among them, Australia has played the most day-night Tests, with 12 matches. The Indian team has played 4 pink-ball Tests so far.

IND vs AUS Head-to-Head Day-Night Test:

The Indian cricket team is currently on a tour of Australia, where the two teams are competing in a 5-match Test series under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. After winning the first Test, India has taken a 1-0 lead in the series. The second Test will be a day-night match, played with a pink ball in Adelaide from December 6.

The first-ever day-night Test was played between Australia and New Zealand in Adelaide in November 2015, where the Australian team won by 3 wickets. Since then, 22 day-night Tests have been played between 10 teams.

Australia has played the most pink-ball Tests, with 12 matches, winning 11 of them. India, on the other hand, played their first-ever pink-ball Test in November 2019 against Bangladesh in Kolkata, where India won by an innings and 46 runs.

India Gives Australia a Tough Fight:

Although India started playing day-night Tests much later, they have given Australia the toughest competition in this format, especially in terms of win percentage, even though they have only played one pink-ball Test against Australia.

In the head-to-head record, India has lost to Australia in the only day-night Test between the two, which was played in Adelaide in December 2020, where India lost by 8 wickets. However, when it comes to win percentage in pink-ball Tests, India ranks second after Australia.

India’s Day-Night Test Record:

Australia has played 12 day-night Tests, losing just one and winning 11. India, on the other hand, has played 4 pink-ball Tests, winning 3 and losing 1. India’s victories have come against Bangladesh, England, and Sri Lanka.

A key point is that India won all three of these pink-ball Tests at home. They have played only one day-night Test on foreign soil, which they lost. Therefore, India will look to make history by winning the Adelaide Test and improving their foreign record in pink-ball Tests.
