Jasprit Bumrah Gave Heart-Winning Statement After Victory Against Australia in 1st Test Match:

The Indian team has made a spectacular start to the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The first match of the ongoing tournament was played between November 22 and November 25 at the Optus Stadium in Perth, where Team India secured a massive 295-run victory. The hero of the match was Captain Jasprit Bumrah.

In the first innings, Bumrah showcased lethal bowling, taking five wickets, and continued his dominance in the second innings as well. After the historic win in Perth, Bumrah said:

"I’m very happy. They put us under pressure in the first innings, but the way we bounced back was amazing. I had played here back in 2018, and I remember the wicket was slightly soft in the initial stages. We were truly prepared for this match. I told my teammates to trust their abilities.

This was Yashasvi Jaiswal’s best Test innings so far. He judged the deliveries very well during his knock. As for Virat (Virat Kohli), I’ve never seen him out of form. He looked great even in the nets.

We always enjoy the support we get from the fans. When we feel their backing, it lifts our spirits.”
